Caption: "Bridge construction and replacement is a never ending project on a large railroad. In western North Dakota, NP 2415, a class T Prairie is on the job with a wrecking crane and a pair of cabooses, replacing a bridge during the brief North Dakota summer. The engine is a 1907 Baldwin, one of 150 2-6-2's on the NP. It will be rebuilt totally, in a design better suited to heavy switching, in 1926."

Caption: Minnetonka was the first locomotive purchased by the NP and was used during the original construction of the line in the east. It was then shipped to the west end for the line construction from Kalama to Tacoma. Later sold and used by logging interests. NP traded NP 51 to Polson Company in 1933 for Minnetonka which became a company symbol.
