Description: Flathead Indians at the 75th Anniversary of the St. Ignatius Mission. One man on a decorated horse, others standing in front of a tipi. Part of the Mission can be seen on the right. The Mission was founded in 1854 by Father Pierre Jean De Smet and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation in northwestern Montana. Vintage 4.5x3.5 in. print, 4x5 in. copy negative.
