Description: Henry Bird "H.B." Calfee (1847-1912), established a photography business in Bozeman as early as 1870, known for his early Yellowstone Park photographs and stereograph views. In 1877, he was part of the group who rescued tourists from the Nez Perce in Yellowstone National Park. During 1881-82, Calfee went on a lecture tour to promote Yellowstone Park with William W. Wylie, before Wylie began his camping company in the Park. They toured through the Park together with Calfee packing all his heavy photography equipment. Vintage 2x4 in. card photograph
