Description: Eddie Durnam (1895-1970), possibly at his lettuce farm in the Gallatin Canyon, Montana. He married Pete Karst's step-daughter, Isabelle, on December 27, 1923. He began lettuce farming around 1938 and they were worked until about 1950s. They are still named Durnam Meadows in the canyon. Vintage 4.75x4 in. copy neg.
