Description: Biplane at Gilman Fair, Gilman, Montana. The town of Gilman began in 1912 when the Great Northern Railway built a line from Great Falls. It was named for L. C. Gilman, Vice President of Great Northern. The town lasted until 1955. It is northeast of Augusta, Montana. Vintage 4.5x3 in. print, 4x5 in. copy negative.
