Description: Mill Crew at Flanders Mill, summer of 1888. George Flanders (1840-1925) started the mill in 1870 and supplied wood and shingles to Fort Ellis. Standing and seated in front of the mill: George McKenzie, Duncan McArthur (1862-1952), John Parks (1819-), Frank Galcott, Tom Donn, John Eschenbacher (1858-1930), G.S. Lansing, Lehas Gumbleson, Jack Rose, and an unidentified man. John Parks was George Flanders father-in-law. Flanders lumberyard was acquired by Kenyon Noble. Vintage 7x5 in. print. 4x5 in. copy negative.
