- Summary: The purpose of the study was to determine the feasibility of using imazapic and seeding to control cheatgrass and annual forbs to create fuelbreaks. The study was located in a Wyoming big sagebrush plant community near Carson City, Nevada. Four treatments (imazapic applied at 105 g ai/ha, seeding of site, imazapic and seeding together and control) were applied to plots established within an existing fuel break established the year before.
