Additional Guidelines

Length

Typical research manuscripts range from 6,000–8,000 words, including references. Shorter manuscripts (e.g., practitioner pieces) may range from 2,000–4,000 words. Due to the online nature of this journal, word limits are flexible.

Blind Review Requirements

Authors must ensure that all identifying information is removed from the manuscript text. For Self-citations, use “Author, year” during review if the authors identify the cited work as their own within the text.

Ethical Considerations

Empirical studies involving human participants should include a statement of institutional ethics approval or IRB review in the final (non-anonymized) version.

Generative AI Statement

If any material contained in the Contribution is the output of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools, (a) such tools do not fulfil the role of, nor can they be listed as, an author of Contribution, (b) Author or Co-author will describe its use, transparently and in detail, in the methods, acknowledgement, or other section of the submission (no such description is needed for tools that are used to improve spelling, grammar, or for purposes of general editing), and (c) Author and each Co-author is responsible for the accuracy of any information provided by any GenAI tool and for referencing any supporting work on which that information depends. The final decision about whether use of an GenAI tool is appropriate or permissible lies with the Journal’s editor.
