| Caption: "NP wrecker 47, overturned just east of Missoula. Wrecker 47 had been called to pick up a derailed gondola just east of Missoula, but insufficient blocking of wrecker 47 caused it to tip over onto the gondola. A small wrecker from the Missoula car shop assisted wrecker 27 in picking up wrecker 47. Wreckers 45 and 47, new 250-ton "Z Model" wreckers built by Industrial Brownhoist in 1945, were assigned to Missoula. They were two of the four largest wreckers (nos. 45-48) on the NP." | |
