A proud head end crew and their nearly new Q-1 Pacific pose near the coal sdock before setting out on a days work.  The occasion may be a special one, with the fireman wearing a tie and the brakeman dressed for an office job.  The engine is a 1905 ALCO embarking on a 42 year NP career.
