The 361 is a class E-1 4-6-0 built by Manchester in 1888 The scan is poor but this appears to be a mixed train. Moscow is on NP's Palouse and Lewiston branch south of Spokane

Date: During 1904  Location: Spokane, WA Photographer: Melberg Railroad: Northern Pacific Railway Caption: NP 739 wrecked in Spokane turntable pit 1904 This would be the second downtown Spokane roundhouse the first being of frame construction and located a little west of the depot on the south side of the tracks. NP constructed a third roundhouse of brick when it moved its terminal and yard facilities east to Parkwater in about 1914. 739 was a class C-3 4-4-0 built by Baldwin in 1883.
