Summary of Methods: Martinez et al. looked at the dietary similarities between cattle and white-tailed deer under two grazing regimes on the Rio Grande plains. Cattle and deer dietary overlap was the greatest on the rotational grazing system (23%) compared to the continuously grazed area (15%). Plant density was much greater on the rotationally grazed area, which may explain why the cattle and deer were able to have a large amount of overlap.
