Let's travel to an ideal future: The year is 2045, and the public health system has transformed into a model of equity, inclusion, and accessibility. For the past two decades, public health programs across the United State collected comprehensive data to capture the full spectrum of participation in federal cancer-screening programs. Data sets differentiate among qualifying individuals who completed the screening, are currently undergoing the screening process, started but did not complete it, and are eligible but have not initiated screenings.
