After demonstrations on 14 railroads, Northern Pacific bought the Four Aces locomotive and renumbered it NP 2626. In this advertising photo Timken was illustrating how the locomotive could be pulled by several people pulling in tug of war fashion. This advertising photo may have been taken in Chicago." |
