Description: Jack Smith and dog, Helen Knight (1915-2010) (on left), and Grace Trent (middle) at Jack Smith's cabin. Jack Smith may have been one of the first people to go through Buck Creek Canyon. The Jack Smith Bridge is located in Gallatin Canyon. In later years, Helen Knight and her husband, Buck, (Robert) (1915-1998) bought ten acres in 1946 and started Buck's T-4 saloon and restaurant near Big Sky, in the Gallatin Canyon, Montana. Vintage 6.5x4.5 in. print.
