Description: Bridger lime kiln and rocks at Maiden Rock in the Bridger Mountain Range outside of Bozeman, Montana. The rock is named Maiden Rock because before 1806 and Lewis and Clark, there was a Spirit Maiden standing on the rock and she spoke to the Sioux and Nez Perce who were fighting each other. Vintage 5x7 in. glass plate negative.
