Description: Grotto Geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The cone is almost 8 feet high and erupts about 10 feet into the air. The odd shape was formed when material accumulated over dead tree stumps as the geyser erupted. Vintage 5.5x3.5 in. nitrate negative.
