Description: In 1926, the Milwaukee Railroad dedicated a large wooden arch south of Gallatin Gateway Inn for travelers going to Yellowstone National Park. The Gallatin Gateway Inn began construction in 1927 as a depot and hotel. The travelers would take the train to the Inn and then take stagecoaches to the Park. Vintage 4.75x4 in. copy neg.
