Description: This is the Rathburn crew from California who would come and camp out in the fields. One of the men was Charlie Freeman, the world champion sheep shearer at the time. The Harvat Ranch was one of the largest sheep ranching operations in SW Montana with more than 60,000 sheep. The ranch was built about 1917. It was located south of Livingston.
