Description: John Haberstroh (1878-1961) photographer, came to Montana in 1900. His sister, Elizabeth Haberstroh Harvat was the wife of John Harvat, who owned a sheep ranch in the Paradise Valley, Montana. It was one of the largest sheep ranching operations in SW Montana, with more than 60,000 sheep. He began taking photographs in 1915 and successfully created photographs for the next 30 years. Vintage 4x5 in. negative, 4x5 in. copy neg.
