Abstract: A computer oriented approach to collate avalanche and geographic information was developed to provide hazard evaluations for a variety of purposes. The major applications are modeling and mapping. A secondary use is storing information related to avalanche path activity. A zone/slope class model was used for recreation planning and will form the basis of an avalanche brochure.
