On the train for St. Paul. Arose at 7 A.M. – Breakfast in the dining car. – Rode over the same old prairie land and past the same old [buttes] all day long. About 7 got with the Dakota Bad Lands. All day in the train – Very comfortable and pleasant riding – Bed Early and slept well.
