Arose Early on the train while still at Livingston. Ride to Bozeman – Passed through Bozeman Tunnel for the second time in my life. Arrived at Bozeman at 9 A.M. Took carriage to the hotel. Went to room and rested. Dr. [Whitfoot] came and dressed my foot – [Burned] and stitched a great deal – Dinner – After dinner Carl packed my trunk and dress suit case – Changed into decent clothes and had a good snack – Spent afternoon packing Etc. – Had supper in room – Bozeman seems like home [town] – Bed at 8.30 – Passed rather restless night – Telegraphed for money today.
