      Description: "The Bear Glacier ice-dammed lake in Kenai Fjords National Park is located at an elevation of approximately 900 feet (275 meters) on the east side of Bear Glacier, 8.8 miles (14.2 kilometers) up-glacier from the terminus. As part of a multi-agency partnership, a camera has been placed to monitor the lake and watch for changes, as we try to better understand the behavior of this lake." Source: NPS
