Location of Park Unit: Montana
Image Type: Primarily Natural Environment
Description: "This scene of the meadows at Logan Pass with Reynolds Mountain (9125 ft.) towering in the background is one of the most iconic views in the park. The sub-alpine vegetation at Logan Pass is spectacular, but fragile. Glacier lilies will be the first flowers to appear, carpeting the fields in yellow. In late summer wandering daisies fills the meadows with a violet hue. Watch for bighorn sheep, mountain goats, or the occasional grizzly bear to wander the hills in the distance. These meadows are closed to hiking. When visiting in person please remember to remain on the trails and boardwalk." Source: NPS
