Item Title  Charlie Doig family - original photo Photographer  Prescott, Allen Abstract  A young Ivan Doig is seen standing in an open field with his parents Berneta and Charlie and their pet dogs. Ivan is adjusting his cowboy in an attempt to block the sun from shining in his eyes. The shadow of the photographer can be seen partially silhouetting the group. The photo was taken by friend and neighbor Allen Prescott in Montana before the Doigs went to Arizona where Charlie found work in an aluminum plant. Note  This photograph is a part of the: "Heart Earth-ideas for cover" series. Note on back of photo reads: "The Doig family, replete with dogs as usual, before heading to Arizona in 1944, where Charlie found work in an aluminum plant."
