Item Title  Before the 320 Ranch Reminiscence by Dr. Caroline McGill Creator  McGill, Caroline, 1879-1959 Abstract  35 handwritten pages of diary entries, written by Dr. Caroline McGill, from 1910 through 1946, of her travels in Southwest Montana. Included are her visits to the 320 Ranch prior to her purchase of the 320 Ranch in 1936. The diary mentions people and places she spent time with and visited while exploring the outdoors of Montana. Her exploits increased dramatically when she bought a car in 1918. After this date, she frequently traveled to West Yellowstone, Belgrade and Hamilton with her home base in Butte, Montana.
