Biography John Gierach, an author and an avid angler who was born in Glenwood, Illinois, talks about the intricacies of angling and some of the experiences that he has had around the country. He describes how he has fished all over the Midwest as well as some more exotic fly fishing destinations such as Alaska and British Columbia. He mentions some of the unique fish that he has got the opportunity to catch or attempt, specifically musky and silver salmon. He spends a significant period of time talking about some of the inspirations for some of his papers and books, as well as some of the intricacies that have gone into some of his writings. His writing has had impacts on the world and fly fishing. One of his final messages is that the world is changing; enjoy It while you can.
