Abstract: The Omineca Mountains are made up of a series of remote ranges located in north central British Columbia, Canada. Due to their remote nature, published avalanche climate data is limited for these ranges. In the winter of 2021-22, 6 Point Avalanche Control managed avalanche risk for an exploration project in this region. This operational program observed avalanche climate data from 3 different areas including notable experiences in managing a road through 2 high elevation passes. This paper summarizes completed work, avalanche climate observations, and provides a reference for future practice in the Omineca Mountains.
